SYD Dom J lounge from 5.30-7.00pm
Can guest

In the Qantas business lounge. Long LONG queue outside it - never seen this on a Sunday night. Did they close the other lounge? Don't see any IROPS on the board

"The" Qantas business lounge? (if you were a QF exec I would assume you mean SYD)

Sydney F-lounge at the moment.
Quite busy.
There were two parties (including myself) waiting for a table and then a man just walks straight past us to take a table that the waiters just cleaned.
Waiters saw this but didn't say anything. Guess its a zoo in there these days.

Manners are taught ...... The person could afford some lessons

Only a Sydneysider would assume there is no world outside of Sydney!

Of course we know there's a world outside of Sydney. That's why we have an airport, so people from all around the world can come here and be amazed.

Sydney's popularity is obvious. If you compare the arrivals and departures boards, departing aircraft go to many different places, but EVERY arriving aircraft comes to Sydney. You can't argue with that!

Anyone going to be in lax on Sunday night around 7.00 pm. My niece is flying QF to BNE. No status, no anything really.

If you are talking about SYD they do close the Qantas lounge some evenings and direct people to use business lounge. SYD Qantas lounge was closed Friday night.

Haha, yes Sydney is an interesting place.... If you like crowds of people and queuing up for everything! Not much to do in Big cities.
More of a fan of places like Pt Hedland, or Adelaide if I want a Big city, but each to there own.

Anyway will be in the MEL biz lounge shortly, around 1200 ish today and then in the Perth lounge a bit later on

Arrived earlier than expected to "The" QF J lounge. Will be here for the next 90 minutes.

Haha,Steady, thought a similar thing when I read this. Only a Sydneysider would assume there is no world outside of Sydney!
All Sydneysiders or just some?

There is a world outside of Sydney. Good to check it out every now to see what they are missing and then great to be back home again.

By the way Sydney is not perfect but it's by far one of the most liveable cities in the world. Unfortunately politicians are ruining the city especially the moron who thinks Canterbury Road should be all medium to high density units. Looks awful and is getting worse by the day. If only we could get rid of all politicians.

Nothing against Sydney siders, but I do find people who live in Syd and also MEL to be very urban centric in my experience.

All big cities may be the same.

it may well be very liveable compared to world standards but I find places like Bendigo or Clare or Esperance to name a few to be more liveable for the things I like.

Am now in the per lounge where there is yummy broccoli soup and zucchini pizza!
