I think our operating crew came from MEL.

It's only a two hour delay. And it's not like I have work tomorrow so I'm not bothered really.

I'm in the rather nice Sydney F lounge. The CL dom lounge in Sydney is a little more clubby.

I had more than 4 drinks

Yesterday was multiple delays culminating with a mechanical problem with our aircraft. With the $100 cab fare each way it would have been cheaper for QF to put us in a hotel. Got to the airport at 6am to have it confirmed that QF had booked us on the 6am instead of th 8am that they had repeatedly said we were on. Thankfully JQ did have 2 seats left and both were in the exit row

I didn't think it was too bad. Much better than what it was a few years ago.

I was told the Virgin lounge next door is more spaceous and they have ovens installed so can serve hot food. May go up that way one day to try it out.

Yes the Virgin lounge downstairs is much better, not only decor but food variety and beverage selection hic!

Oh this would have been perfect, I've just signed up to find someone like you in the Perth "QP". Am currently en route to the airport and have discovered that my renewal has not been completed by work, very annoying. Called QC and they said because of the cricket and overcrowding there is nothing they can do for me.
Anyone else in PER QP in the next hour or so who would be willing to guest me?
