I'm in the QF Lounge thread

Didn't make it to the lounge - had to run straight to my SYD flight due to a late departure of the DPO flight and an ATC delay
Weren't we on same flight to SYD although I have funny feeling I posted wrong times on the lounge thread. Take care.

Just landed in MEL a little late.

In the SYD Dom J Lounge next 20 minutes if anyone is about or needs access

Yes, thats exactly what he did and was much happier there. Which makes no sense.

business lounge in brizvegas is now a much friendlier place without all the FiFo. much easier to get seating and bar service. he was obviously very unlucky. the mining/coal seam gas downturn/recession has made a huge difference to the lounge-----and the staff appreciate it, with much better service

Today is Mother's Day and the weekend so probably not as many status travellers travelling as during the week. I visited the Brisbane J lounge twice yesterday and on both occasions it was far from full.

Fairly predictable that I'm in DRW but my luggage isn't :(

about 830 for a 930/10 flight
I don't believe that would be peak time for BNE. And also Sunday night ~8:00pm and the lounge is almost always empty.

Monday morning and Friday nights are a different story. Don't have too much experience other days of week.

Not in the lounge as such BUT I would like to say how grotty, packed, loud and generally untidy and worn out the Melbourne international business lounge was last month (or is it just me?) I flew from Melbourne to Dubai with QF on the late night flight and spent 20 mins in the lounge before I left. No tables were cleaned, kids were running amuck food everywhere, it looked more like a Macca's in a CBD after the pubs and clubs shut. Is this normal ?

In the Darwin lounge tomorrow

IMO the DRW Domestic lounge is much nicer than the MEL Int. J lounge - I think you will like it*

*there will most likely be kids but their behaviour is the responsibility of their parents In my book

I just created a new thread...

But my mum is wandering around SYD QF domestic for 3 hrs and would love a guesting into the lounge if possible.

She would be eternally grateful!
