I'm in the QF Lounge thread

MEL domestic J for 30 minutes. Comfort food central here: cream of something soup with a side serve of sour cream and also a penne Bolognese. Three types of cake for dessert though :)

Edit: it’s cream of cauliflower soup.

Addendum to my post: my flight to ADL delayed by 30 minutes but no update on the FIDS at MEL. I realise that isn’t a QF problem but the lounge did know the flight was delayed, because I asked them, and no lounge announcement was made.

Bolognese in SYD business lounge earlier with boiled potatoes. I don't think I've ever come across that one and passed.

I forgot the 6:00pm SYD-OOL flight is not a dinner flight. Hungry!

And the ironic thing is I got the healthiest (and tastiest) salad choice in the J cabin I’ve had for months for the quick flight to ADL.

I'm in the dpo QP until 6.10 if anyone is about

I will be calling into the MEL domestic J lounge for a coffee on arrival at about 7.40

HKG CX The Wing at present and then The Pier till QF 128 goes tonight. At least it looks like it will go tonight unlike yesterday. Can guest one.

In Syd J Dom Lounge. I’m SG so I’m normally on the otherside of the wall. This is very disappontinting - lots of seats but the food and beverage options are almost the same as QC. I was in Brisbane’s J lounge a few months ago and am sure there was a much better selection.

Staff are slow here too. It’s 2pm on a Friday - tell all the coffee drinkers to sod off and just focus on the booze ;)

Hope the flight (to Brisbane) is better.
