Unless PS's like mrsdoc and I get 11JK (bassinet seating - no babies in business so our upgrade came thru.....)

i would have though 16 would be popular with OWEs?? (isnt 16 the exit row?)

16 is upper deck 747. 11-13 is referring to the A380, no?

On the 388's, 16 is indeed an exit row. However, with Skybed Mk II, the benefits of an exit row against another row are not nearly as significant.

That's what I thought - with seat pitch at 80", being in an exit-row isn't all that relevant.

Is it relevant at all? I was in 12D or 13D a while ago - easy access to the exit and loos and plenty of space (I am 185cms tall) - wouldnt think of trying for an exit seat over convenience.

Is there room from the window seat to exit without the awkward climb-over required on the 744 in non exit rows?

That definately negates the benefit of exit row then. The major advantage of row 16 on the 744 is A/K pax being able to get out easily during flight when B/J pax are reclined.
