In the morning it was a french continental breakfast in bed.

After a while we started off walking around Bray.A picturesque little village.

The redwoods weren't forgotten here.

They were starting to set up for the afternoon's cricket match.

Some of the roofs were a little suspect.

then we walked around the church.The cemetery neede some love in parts.plenty of old headstones.

Lunch was in Heston's number 3 restaurant in Bray-The Crown.Only took a pic of the starters.

I had to duck in several places.

Naturally a Sav blanc.

Mrsdrron had the smoked salmon followed by the prawn coughtail.

I had the chicken,ham and leek pressing followed by the fish and chips with crushed peas.
..
For desserts mrsdrron had their Eton Mess and I had honeycomb with a panna cotta.
..

Nice but not extra special.reasonable value.but great staff and friendly service.

We checked out on Sunday morning.We only had to go a short way-to the Sofitel at T5.That was because BA had changed our comfortable 1100 flight to FRA to the 0700 flight.So we needed to be close on Sunday night.
Now Runnymede is quite close to Bray.We had never been there before so we went there first.Not a lot to actually see but an important place in history.Most of the people there that morning were joggers or walking their dogs.

Next was Savill Gardens part of Great Windsor Park.A really good garden with a huge gift shop and restaurant.Some interesting things in the gift shop.

Mrsdrron's camera wouldn't work.The battery has reached the end of it's life as later it would work when i swapped batteries.We didn't have another battery so most of the pics are by mrsdrron using my camera.

However there was one point where I got annoyed with some of the human race.

causing damage.

Knocking over hoops that were to let a piece of lawn time to regenerate.

So when we got back to the shop I showed the photos to a staff member who called the manager over.He knew the group and went off to talk to their leader.Sorry I didn't feel bad about dobbing on them.

We were now back at the main building and had some lunch.

So I had the sunday roast washed down with a pig charmer cider.mrsdrron had a margherita pizza.A bit ordinary.
