Inappropriately Woken on Overnight MH flight

If airlines went back to allowing you to pre-order your meals online the week before departure (like QF used to), they could give the FAs your preferences in the manifest so never need to wake you to ask.

This is for a 2hr 28min domestic flight on United tomorrow:

Although I can’t imagine selecting “I would like to go directly to sleep” will actually facilitate any rest on UA. 🤣

Mr & Mrs Pushka plus Ade did extremely well to sleep continually.

While I usually get some sleep in J irrespective of airline (assuming lie-flat), there's a bit too much light and noise to be 'NREM' (if that's the correct term) sleep.

Much easier to sleep properly in a train's sleeping berth. A proper compartment, and any noise from the tracks is soothing (although aircraft have become noticeably quieter over the years).
