Ah. Brain is in gear now. What a worryTell that to the driver as that’s the closest known point to the ship.

Sinophile888 took this and did the necessary ground work to get everybody thinking and then it was on. (Unfortunately Bindibuys was on another cruise and could not join us)My vote for a cruise in 2018.
Thanks straitman and a nice summary. For the record I never weigh myself until a week has passed.Sinophile888 took this and did the necessary ground work to get everybody thinking and then it was on. (Unfortunately Bindibuys was on another cruise and could not join us)
Golden Princess 25th - 29th January 2018. (plus two extra days for some)
The countdown seemed to go for ever which was maybe fortunate as it gave people time to prepare and sort things out ahead. Some did and some didn't. All of a sudden the date was upon us and even quicker the cruise was over and part of history. A new term was invented. Australian Frequent Floaters!
We had thirteen willing participants with one or two initially considering themselves outsiders which they were NOT. The cruise was a good intro with good weather and a port day, a tender day and a sea day so the newbies got to try all the options.
Everyone please make sure you complete the email survey that you should have received yesterday. Unlike some airlines we know Princess are quite reasonable at responding to surveys.
The only thing that needs to be sorted out now is where and when #2 will occur. Suitable 3, 4 or 5 day cruises are not in abundance.
Thanks everyone it was great fun.
... and one last question. How many have weighed themselves and found the four day cruise is a four kilo cruise, rule applies to them?
Cruised out of Sydney harbour three times now and every time is memorable.Next cruise possibility - 4 nights on Sun Princess ex Syd to Moreton Island departing 5 Jan 2019 would suit me. Sailaway out of Sydney Harbour is something I’d love to do one day.
I just looked at this and some categories are already heavily booked.Next cruise possibility - 4 nights on Sun Princess ex Syd to Moreton Island departing 5 Jan 2019 would suit me. Sailaway out of Sydney Harbour is something I’d love to do one day.

Even when you consider the drinks you stole from my Mini-Bar?It was a good cruise but the cruise bug hasn't bitten me.

Cruiseguru has $10 non refund deposits and $100 obc. Prices just a little higher than Princess but OBC takes it down. Early full payment though.Quite a few oceanview available on deck 8 I just put a hold on one while I think about it. I’ve decided I like oceanview - reminds me of the old days pre 2000 when the first gargantuan, all-balcony ships started appearing

There were a reasonable number though we didn't see them much. The kids club on the ship does a great job of entertaining kids. Were there many kids on the cruise?
i didn’t see that many. I’m betting neither did DameO, Anna, mrsmajor or JessicaTam. Kids don’t hang around bars or casinos that muchWere there many kids on the cruise?
Err, are you suggesting that we hung around the bars??i didn’t see that many. I’m betting neither did DameO, Anna, mrsmajor or JessicaTam. Kids don’t hang around bars or casinos that much
