Yes, that was what prompted the question, I recall seeing a photo of that incident and more than half the people had their mask only over their mouth. And I also love the safety demo door-pointing part.

I wonder if any actually pulled on their masks to activate the flow. I guess it didnt really matter in the end.

Putting it over mouth works if a mouth breather which people tend to do when they are anxious.
The person who posted this photo seemed more interested in buying the WN inflight internet to post on facebook (apparently to connect with his family) than oxygenation of his brain.

Oh cough - now you just made me think again of the fears I had on QF706.

Look around. Most people don’t listen at all. And sadly the airlines aren’t helping by making them nice marketing driven buzz pieces. You need one written by a pilot. Including phrases like ‘you will die’.
I tend to agree :)

Many of the videos airlines have been making recently actively put me off from watching them. The BA video is a good example of a bad safety video.

A good video, to the point, quick and no annoying "fluff". JAL.

Pull the mask down. Strap it onto your face. Stay in your seat.

It would not be the best time to be in the toilet. Although there would be oxygen masks in there, there's certainly no seat belt.

The only advantage would be clean underwear!

If the pilots do it properly, you won't even spill your drink....
