Indonesia to Offer Visa-Free Travel to 20 Countries

The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is expecting to add 20 countries to the visa-free list by October, Australia included:

"The process is almost complete, and the list of 20 countries has been submitted. We are proposing visa-free entry for tourists from countries that provide the greatest economic impact," said Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno in Jakarta on Monday.

Happy to hear this, shelled out USD$50 twice in a month for some Jakarta visits earlier this year. Cheaper than a multi-entry but still, ouch.

Thanks for posting. This comes several months later than original thought but just made my Euro trip over Xmas / New Year cheaper! Alas, not the one I’m doing in a few weeks….
