Also, how does the IC club compare with the Hilton Exec lounge?

There is no comparison.

Fabulous views from the club lounge. Pity the food is more like warmed Coles deep frozen spring rolls than club lounge food. It used to be good but the change "to give customers more choice" means the usual. What a shame. It just spoils the experience.

I have stayed IC club a number of times over the past 12 months, last time 1 week ago and IMO you are way out of line with regards to the club food. IMO it is one of the best club lounges in Sydney with regards to the quality and quantity of food. Remember they are serving the masses and don't have individual catering. Ive never seen the frozen "coles" spring rolls

Thanks for the replies! Especially to Ewing for the pics........what do they say? A picture says a thousand words?

I think I've made up my mind.........IC for Thurs/Fri...H for Sat nite!

Now the question is do I start indulging in the possibly more expensive, but guaranteed IC offerings? (I still think the non IC, IHG offering seems pretty poor)

Is a comp. Amb renewal still available upon 3 different IC property stays?

Sounds like a Qantas style "enhancement".
That was my thought:) but maybe they have changed so we'll see from those who go there again. Personally we've changed hotels because of the freedom to be fed cough food, but others here seem to disagree so we shall see in the future.
