Interline agreements on NZ/CX but QF stock

I'm not sure if this is better suited for the NZ forum but this would be issued by QF so I thought others might have experiences with it.

I'm looking to book a fare from ZQN/CHC-AKL-HKG with QF via points. Does anyone know whether NZ will through-check bags from ZQN/CHC to HKG when the subsequent segment is on CX?

ZQN/CHC-AKL on NZ
AKL-HKG on CX

one ticket and QF stock.
