International Lounge before Domestic Flight

Quick question if I may.
Flying AUH to SYD with stopover in MEL with Etihad.
Flights are Etihad but Virgin of course will do MEL to SYD.
Am I able to use the Etihad Lounge before my ‘Virgin domestic’ flight?
It’s part of an international flight with Etihad after all.

How would you get to it?

After you clear customs and deposit your bag back in, you have no International boarding pass to go back through immigration to get airside in International terminal to access the lounge.

No access to the Ethiad Lounge as you will be in arrivals and it is in departures and as your next flight will be on Virgin domestic you will have left the International terminal so no access. Perhaps you will have access to the Virgin Domestic lounge before your flight depending on class of travel and or status with Virgin.
