With SYD-AUH on VA now gone, and MEL-LAX existing, I've kind of lost track of where you can use points to upgrade a Y or Y+ seat to J using Velocity points. I know it can only be done to AUH or LAX, but I've lost track of from where

Does anyone else find this Route Map site confusing: Virgin Australia Route Map

Could you help me please fill in any gaps here, or correct any errors:

-----

SYD-LAX VA1 : daily - 0950-0630
LAX-SYD VA2 : daily - 2235-0720 (+2)

-------

BNE-LAX VA7 : Tues to Sat - 1050-0655
LAX-BNE VA8 : Sun to Thurs - 2350-0650 (+2)

BNE-LAX VA9 : Sun - 2130-1735
LAX-BNE VA6 : Sat - 1115- 1815 (+1)

------

[from April 2017]
MEL-LAX VA23 : Sat to Tues, Thurs - 1130-0900
LAX-MEL VA24 : Thurs to Sun, Tues - 2110-0600 (+2)

------

[from June 2017] *no Y+*
PER-AUH VA11 : Sun, Tues, Fri - 2255-0625 (+1)
AUH-PER VA12 : Mon, Wed, Sat - 0820-2325

You basically have it.

VA between MEL/SYD/BNe and LAX.

Yes, or not use at all. I feel there are a lot of people who get points from various sources and never get around to using them.

I have friends who have flown for work over the years, have points in the 100k's and have no idea how to use them. In the end a lot of them either just book a Y flight somewhere without looking into the J option or cash out the points with vouchers or bose headphones from the e-store
