DJ are operating the 330s between MEL-SYD on Saturday nights. Hapy hour fare of $65 for the 28th of May!
If I booked in PE I wonder what would happen.... I'm assuming I would end up in J.
Considering the new service has attracted a lot to it, I doubt there’d be space for upgrades. I’d be anticipating full premium classes, if not the whole plane.
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
worth a run up and down to see what its like - not having to go all way to perth
Your suggesting a downgrade? There is no PE on A330 flights, yet according to their web site PE is available for sale on the SYD-MEL-SYD sectors.
I'm thinking that too. Maybe we should get a group together from AFF and do it, could be a good day. I'm sure Virgin Blue would arrange a suprise for our flight.
Well I am up for it - I have to be in Sydney next day anyway - though I will be sitting in economy - for 1 hr 25 mins, I will enjoy the plane from somewhere in the middle methinks $130 return woth one way on new aircraft - bargain!
bum bow!
I am so slow. After I sent it I looked at the flights and saw little red plane logo and that it was A330! hehehehe
Thanks for the heads up. I am booked on the flight
Will come back Monday morning at 7.15 - head straight to work. Might as well have all Sunday with the folks...
Is this going to be a mid-air AFF gathering?
Oh, you can't. A moderator needs to do that...
But all future conversations about the flight can go in it's new forum.
I am not going to answer every one of your points as I don't feel the need. Suffice to say that I believe a lot of people have a different opinion than the one you have expressed.
This came via email today from Velocity:
"We are excited to announce Virgin Blue's new Airbus A330 Business Class Service, offering space, comfort and luxury from Sydney to Perth and back again.
With award-winning service, luxury leather seating, 62 inch Business Class seat pitch, multi-channel entertainment and our range of high quality meals designed by Luke Mangan, Virgin Blue's Airbus A330 service will redefine the Domestic Travel experience"
I'm curious to know how DJ Business Service can be award winning given that no one has yet experienced it?
