Hi, long time frequent flyer (since aged 3), in those days BOAC gave out individual log books to members of their club which the pilot/copilot signed off! I still have mine with a long list of flights around Southeast Asia and Australia. No points though 
Since then have flown very regularly within Australia and internationally.
My most recent flight was Air NZ Brisbane to LAX, business. I really enjoy flying with AirNZ, the staff do really look after you compared to Qantas Business which is pretty hit and miss. On the Auckland-LAX leg the seat is really comfortable, the food is excellent, and the aircraft is well maintained. The price is significantly less than Qantas, but of course, its a longer flight with a stopover in Auckland.
