Hi, long time frequent flyer (since aged 3), in those days BOAC gave out individual log books to members of their club which the pilot/copilot signed off! I still have mine with a long list of flights around Southeast Asia and Australia. No points though :)
Since then have flown very regularly within Australia and internationally.
My most recent flight was Air NZ Brisbane to LAX, business. I really enjoy flying with AirNZ, the staff do really look after you compared to Qantas Business which is pretty hit and miss. On the Auckland-LAX leg the seat is really comfortable, the food is excellent, and the aircraft is well maintained. The price is significantly less than Qantas, but of course, its a longer flight with a stopover in Auckland.
