iPhone app similar to MyFlights that supports other GDSes?

I didn't put two and two together when you posted your name earlier - welcome to AFF, and great to see you here Your app is extremely useful, thanks for creating it! Hopefully medhead can provide his Virgin Australia PNR which wasn't working, as I don't have any booked VA flights coming up.

Seeing as you're here, I have to ask: is it possible for My Flights to support any of the GDSes other than Amadeus and Sabre, and if so, do you have plans to add said support? It's a fantastic app as it is, but obviously the greater than airline coverage the better.

Thanks for the welcome and the comments - I only wrote the app as a hobby because I kept getting seat-shifted, so great that it's useful for others too

Ideally it would cover all GDSes - Galileo would be the next main one - but getting reliable and consistent access to the data isn't easy, so we'll see. I also would like to get an Android version built, but that's also a lot of work... and given this isn't my day job, I'm just trying to prioritise my time

I've been able to add in 3 bookings. I have 8 more but 3 outta 3 is good enough for me.

My flights is just now just about perfect for my needs. Thank you.

I might have spoken too soon. The app successfully adds my bookings that involve business awards. However, I've just tried a few more bookings and the paid economy bookings cannot be found.

Perhaps some more magic is required.

More magic hopefully available - just email me with the PNRs and I'll investigate.
Sabre isn't used very much over here in the UK, so test bookings are hard to come by.

I just tried one of my other bookings and the app found it without a hitch. Thank you very much for fixing it all up. I'll try the rest of my bookings in a little while.

It is just amazing that you can fix things so quickly.

The only issue I have currently (I don't fly Virgin) is that I get an alert that booking QNB456 has changed and when I click on the alert it doesn't take me to the booking - just the list of bookings. Given I have multiple bookings in the system it isnt always easy to tell which has actually changed.

I don't let it notify me, so it might be different for you. But the bookings that have changed show up in red text in my list of bookings then when I open the booking it looks for the changes and marks them in red text again.

No nothing useful and mine seems to auto check when opening bookings despite being set otherwise.

What about using the alerts button, top right of the current bookings page? That at least takes you to the changed booking.

Hmm - it wasn't doing that for a while.

When iCloud was introduced, the red highlighting of the actual bookings in the list was affected as sometimes iCloud synced late, and the change alerts made a booking red a split second before iCloud then synced it with a non-red booking. That's one of the reasons I introduced the Alerts button. You should be able to tap on the alert in the popover and it will take you to the booking that's changed.

For the red highlighting in the actual booking details itself, I found an issue last night that meant the items on the left of the cells didn't show red when they'd changed (e.g. Cabin of service), but everything on the right should show red (e.g. Seats) - I'll do some more testing on that tonight. I've fixed the issue with left items not showing red and will submit that to apple tonight/tomorrow (will take a few days for them to approve)

Fair enough. I'd love to be offer to help with getting access to more GDSes, but this is way outside my area of expertise unfortunately. I hope you are successful though - thanks again!
