I notice you need a iPhone dock to round DIN cable to use your phone on the CX system. Do they supply it, or do you need to purchase one before flying?

Cheers Simon. You would think CX would make it more clear. I read everywhere on their website last night and couldn't any info. Granted I had a few Bourbons in me :-)

It worked really well - great to be able to use their big screen and not have my iPad in the way of the food tray. This was the latest new CX J though.

It does not have a DIN connector - just the standard red/white/yellow you have in a standard AV cable (back from the old days before HDMI and Component cables). The new Biz class has both composite (R/W/Y) and S Video (DIN) connections.

I like the composite cable as you can then plug in the USB as well to provide power to the iDevice.
