Is EZE in Buenos Aires really as chaotic as I'm reading?

Four weeks and we'll be in BA and a few hours from flying to Iguazu. I've been reading horror stories about EZE and how much time you need to be there in advance of your flight.

We've got three flights - one to Iguazu, one to Lima and then one to Auckland. First two Y with AR and last J with NZ.

Do we need to get to EZE three hours before our flights? Will flying J with NZ make any difference re queues, fastrack etc?

Cheers
Pete

Sounds like a great trip. I'm off to BA myself in September :).

Something to possibly check - is your flight to Iguazu actually from EZE? I believe most domestic flights are actually from AEP?

Edit: I see there are actually direct flights EZE-IGR! Ignore me :P !

Would have noticed eventually. As others had thought, we're out AEP and back into EZE. Got a flight reschedule today for the flight back to BA. Sorry.

A few years ago we booked an AR flight IGR-EZE, but when we got to the airport we found it had been rescheduled to go to AEP! Once there, AR did not want to provide us with transport to EZE, until an angry mob stormed their office and they reluctantly arranged taxis for us. At EZE Mrs jxv was not allowed to join me in the LAN priority check-in queue as she did not have status herself at the time. We then joined the long economy queue. That never happened anywhere else.
