We plan to visit Thailand end of May and I’ve booked heaps of other travel for the rest of the year.
Where are you going? coughet? I'll be in Thailand for 29 days from 14 May.

I think masks are still compulsory when out and about in Thailand and I see no reason not to wear one in public here or anywhere else. I want to get on with life as much as anyone else but getting Covid isn't on the bucket list so still need some protection.

Masks are still about “protecting everyone else from you” … feel the need to clarify because a few posts on here seem to be thinking they protect the wearer.

Which is the reason to wear one in public places, yeah they’re slightly annoying but it’s kinda good to know you’re not an accomplice.

Currently in Como N95 masks still mandatory on trains and ferries. You can get by with regular mask on local buses. Some shops require regular masks. No masks on Swiss trains. Be prepared for big crowds in popular Italian destinations

4 night in Bangkok and 4 night in Koh Samui is the plan.

Wearing face mask doesn’t bother us, minor inconvenience. Covid also doesn’t bother us, we both had it back in Feb milder than a flu, fortunately. Being triple vaxxed and recovering we are as protected as one can be but nevertheless we will follow the rules of the specific country we are visiting.

I do hope Thailand will make further amendments to Test & Go or at least make the process more efficient.

Nope....can't get away from this country and its lockdowns and rules quick enough!!. We've spent the past 15 years travelling and cruising for at least 6 weeks a year all over the world and to be locked here for the past 2 years has been terrible (especially in Victoria!). Last trip was Oct-Dec 2019 to France, Spain and Portugal. We are doing similar trip leaving September this year. Having had a "VERY close call" with health in 2017 it changes your perspective to life...and its way too short to be staring at 4 walls.! Sadly lost a couple of near and dear friends to cancer during the past 2 years. Sadly they both had "bucket list" trips planned before they were locked down....and now its too late. If people are scared or concerned about travel....then by all means stay home. But PLEASE let the rest of us LIVE....!! "Fear doesn't prevent death - It Prevents LIFE"

Oh the up market Thailand holiday?

Test and go gone from 01 May. Antigen Test at airport.

@Forg whether mask protects me and anyone else or just anyone else is irrelevant. It should be compulsory.

Oh and yes I still have radical views. Anyone that can be vaccinated should be vaccinated. There shouldn't be a choice.
