Hi all, I noticed that SQ has pulled all its A380 fleets from Melbourne to Singapore (and vice versa) starting July 1, 2013.

From what I've seen, SQ217/8 (previously operated by A380) has been replaced by a 77W. Generally, SQ 227/8 seems to be still operated by the A380, however there are some specific days during August that this reverts to an A330 :!:

Thanks for your help. It was actually my mistake, because I wanted to book a suite class direct from Melbourne to Hong Kong in October.

In fact they only have one A380 departing Melbourne each day at 3:45pm.

So I couldn't use this free redemption if I wanted to go to HK.

Well you can. I just need to stay overnight in SIN.

Alby the new MEL SKL is due to open in a week or so. I have been promised invite to the opening - will get some pics to post - Rita the 'gun' SQ lady here in MEL tells me it is really SPECIAL.

I'm not sure how special it will actually be, but I look forward to it.

Alas, the end of the Vue de Terminal "Cashback" option on SQ flights :p:p:p
