Is it worth spending $380 for 10,000pts?

I'll splash cash for SC to secure status tier however, doubt I'll do the same for points.

As others have mentioned the CC option may be the way to go.

Feel the same as amaroo.

Points aren't as hard to come by as SCs in my opinion.

Hi, even if you didn't get the Jetstar card confirmed in time, there are often deals for points. Look for new card offers with no annual fee, take the card, get the points, and then your choice if you keep it or not. If you are aiming for a trip between now and the end of next year there will be lots of these offers from different providers and between you and your partner you could rack up a lot of points.

Dont pay $380 for 10K when you can sign up to the the JQ Mastercard, earn up to 30,000 points and no annual fee first year. After you earn the points, cancel card.

Jetstar Cards

Sign up yourself and + 1 = 60,000 points ..... for nothing ;)

Followed your link but cannot see the 'no annual fee for first year' offer. Is this an expired promo, or am I missing something?

Thanks,

Tb

Just a tip with the Jetstar Mastercard platinum. ... mine came through with a letter dated 3rd april. I rang to activate ( india ???) told them i had applied well before the 31st and that if I was not going to get the 30,000 points there was no point activating the card etc. they said I would get the points and I activated it. I will wait to see but it seems they will creditthe bonus points ( maybe)
