I was looking for some J Class flights to the US and on nearly every airline they are $200-$600 cheaper than BestFlights/Zuji etc (even when adding the 2% CC fee). Now if somethings to good to be true it usually is? I wonder if FC or the like would price match them?

Just wonder if the experts here have heard of them?

Their travel agent license number (2TA5667) brings up results on the Government Gazette from 2007 but nothing more recent. You can ring the department of fair trading and check if their license is still valid.

A quick check of the Travel Compensation Fund website shows that both Payless World Travel, and it's parent company Jemima Enterprises Pty Ltd are both TCF registered.

The parent company also has a separate travel agents registration, 2TA 5667. On this name and registration, I can find records of them as most recent as the March 2011 gazette listing of authorised travel agents. Sadly, the NSW Govt. doesn't make these documents easy to search so digging that up was a good use of google-fu.

As noted by orangehenry, NSW does not have a way to validate a travel agent license online. You will need to call NSW Fair Trading for this.

Considering they seem to be registered and licensed, are TCF members, and I can't locate any negative press on either entity; I don't think there's too much to worry about if you were to use them.

Thanks guys. Quite a saving compared to other already cheap sites hence my apprehension. Thanks again.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but every time I've found the qantas site much cheaper than anyone else, including pay less

As thewinchester says their holding company is Jemima Enterprises. They have a number of interesting links to Migration agents, lawyers all for Indians and Srilankans.Apparently also own an Indian Restaurant in Parramatta.
So just check what airline you are flying but do seem legit.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but every time I've found the qantas site much cheaper than anyone else, including pay less

Example-

Qantas J Class Return (ADL-LAX Sep 10-20th)

Qantas Site- $9408
Bestflights (During 48 hour sale currently)- $9182
PayLessWorldTravel- $8925.19

Nice, when comparing from my ABX-DFW one way on the qantas site in y I get about a thousand, any other site is about double that
