Is this non-QF LHR redemption a good use of 8k miles?

A EI (Aer Lingus) LHR_DUB redemption is quoted at 8k miles/points by the QF calculator.
It is 281 miles distance and EI is not selling discount tickets for my preferred date (they were 0 + tax or approx 37GBP).

I noticed that QF has a table showing Aer Lingus 'discount economy' seats can cost 0.7x an economy redemption. However with no cheap seats on sale I doubt this will mean a cheaper redemption.

To buy a ticket on BD will be 57GBP, around $120AUD all in.
Is 8k miles a rip off considering there will be charges on top of the 8k?
(Too bad it's not a SYD-LHR 8k redemption!)
Thanks!
