Here is another one. I've taken the courtesy to underline the statement "Baggage is included with every Qantas fare".

This was booked on Amex Travel - customer facing site, all bookings in N,O or E.

Let's see if it updates.

I had a similar problem last week when double checking a trip I am now. It rectified itself within a couple of hours from memory.

getting the following error when trying to pay for a multi-city points redemption:-

"An error has occurred in our central database. Please contact us for further information. (4002 [7597])"

I've just booked a trip to India through Amex Travel ON QF and 9W and get the same result. I'll see if it updates in the next few hours.

That isn’t unusual for a fare booked through a TA.

Just checked, thanks Wanderlust_tim and mannej . It has resolved itself, and my flight for tomorrow has forgotten my baggage allowance as PS - so it says 30kg's rather than than 42kg when I last looked.

I will just put it down to I will know the luggage allowances even if the Qantas website doesn't.

MMB will only ever show just your ticketed allowance so any additional allowances due to frequent flyer status are on top of that and won't be shown.

I always see my personal allowances in MMB - this is for a domestic flight as Silver.

Oh that must be (relatively?) new! Previously, prior to the redesign of MMB you'd only see your ticketed allowance and there was an information icon next to it that displayed the message that frequent flyer allowances were in addition.

Your right, it's a change, though not much of a change when they keep changing the numerical value. Prior to the redesign those were the days, I could actually use the Qantas site on my low resolution laptop and see more than 7cm of information at a time.

I've had this many times. I simply close it down and start again.

I made a phone booking tonight and had a very polite little whinge about how bad the web site is and he waived the $70 booking assistance fee.

The message below is what I'm getting this morning.

We're experiencing some problems
We're working on fixing this, please or come back later.

I got this a few days ago when trying an award booking from SYD to BKK:
I hadn't previously been anywhere near the Vietnam website.

I also have the Baggage not included message after booking via Amex.
Also, the Amex site allows you to select seats from an active seat map but those seat selections aren't reflected in the MMB, so that's a waste of time as a function.

Whatever you do, do NOT engage with the online chat. The operators on the other end have an embarrassing grasp of the English language...

If I have the time it's fun to play with the on line chat, the little icon pops up and asks do I have a question.

So I ask why the new wed site is coughpola. Then engage for a while and they they can't help, so I ask why they asked me if I had a question and then when I do they try and brush me off. This goes on for a while and I get board and cut it off.
