ITA Matrix searching

Thanks for that. I'll pass it onto a TA if I can find one.

I've determined that the issue with not replicating the matrix fare is that all the OTA I've tried, along with the AA fare, are forcing the outbound sectors (four of them) into M rather than the lower O.

IME ,when booking via travel agents and giving them matrix reference, keep in mind, they do not generally gain much by chasing up this fare and often the too hard basket is referred too, you can and probably will receive a lot of "not available any more" cant find that fare", if it is possible call AA direct and do it yourself

Theres probably a good reason for that. Matrix is good at what it does, but its probably not the only tool you need if hobbying this game - I found that a tool like expertflyer also helped because it gave me easier to understand loading indicators. You would probably find that O is sold out and thats why you're getting returns only showing M. The other possibility, that I hit often and has been mentioned already I think, is that some (most?) airlines dont release to the GDS their deepest discount Y tickets. If this is the case then M may well be the cheapest class available for this flight according to the GDS which all the various systems refer to.

I eventually got the flights I wanted but not after the TA buggered up the booking, completely removing two entire sectors from the itinerary I sent you, which was verbatim the information from the Matrix.

On an unrelated matter, I've noticed that the mobile version of the Matrix can give cheaper fares (sometimes quite significantly) than the desktop version.

I know the ITA MAtrix feature has been there for quite a while but I didn't see the significance for my needs. "See calendar of lowest fares".

Now I've started using the 30 day window I have moved some of next years planned travel by a week here and there to optimise the fares.

Can anybody point me in the right direction to book the airfare below. I have tried the TK website, Orbitz.com, Skyscanner.com.au, Expedia.com

For ITA fare I just forward the itinerary to my travel gent whom tickets it, but that is for AUD fares.

Perhaps you need a Turkish travel expert, a travel agent that specialises in urkish airfares and currency.

Also, consider Skyscanner which might identify an online airfare without you needing to go to all of the websites yourself.
