Tried it for Melbourne bookings next month and only 2 hotels participating and the 50% off best unrestricted rate was extremely expensive.

I think you need some luck with these promotions. I certainly don't have it or I am doing something wrong.

Agree. I have looked at these promotions a few times and have still found most of the 'deals' a bit on the high dide
