Is anybody else having the same problem? Had to cancel tickets (international) and I have still not received a refund of my points. It was a Classic booking. In the past it has only taken 24-48 hours. I am not sure how to contact them I have tried facebook and twitter but no answer.
Thank you!!

I used this last week and received the points in two days.

I have a similar issue. Up until this month, award cancellation refunds were seeing points back within a week and $$$ back within about 4 weeks.

I had two award booking cancelled early December. I called to arrange refund but nothing since. it's been two weeks.

@pucci4065 If I had an urgent need for the points I'd be calling again.

Just an FYI Singapore airlines even during covid times refund points and cash within 7days....better yet you dont even need to call up to do it !!

downside is they do have a cancellation fee

well, no - for most of this year Award booking refunds were reasonably quick when compared to that for revenue cancellations.

In recent weeks they seem to have become beached. Hence this specific thread/title.

Its almost like Qantas is using the tax gathered on reward bookings and classifying it as revenue to plump up the books
