J award disappeared after doing dummy booking

For the "My Bookings" page in QF MMB, unfortunately this was recently "enhanced" to only show bookings that have been ticketed which makes it harder to find the PNR for dummy bookings now.

So long as the PNR hasn't already been auto cancelled, the call centre would be able to locate it and either finalise payment and have it ticketed, or could cancel it (however this doesn't always mean the inventory will become available again).
They can still show on the App. sometimes.

Actually, that “Hold booking” function appears to have been completely “enhanced” away (maybe with the new look booking page?). You now get 10 mins to complete payment or presumably it cancels it?

I just tried two random SYD-MEL flights (1x revenue and 1x CR), neither stuck as “Held” booking as far as I could tell in the website or app.

Edit: oh, just received an email advising the held revenue flight (pay before 11:59 pm). So it does appear to be still a function. But whilst I can look up the booking reference under MMB, it doesn’t appear otherwise under trips in app or website.

Agree with this. Just a few weeks ago when I had reward seats released but one of the sectors was still on request for review so not ticketed, the PNR showed up in the app while I was on the phone with the agent so it was easy to see all was as expected.

Yeah it’s weird - reward seat releases (“on request”) have always shown up in the app but not MMB.

The complimentary lounge invite page will show unticketed PNRs as a workaround as long as you have at least one invite available and the flights aren’t on partner airlines.

I am also wondering if the webpage code of MMB actually has the unconformed/pending PNR embedded, even if not displayed /rendered.

I just had a look at the API endpoint that the My Bookings page uses and the unticketed PNRs aren't being returned with the data at all so the change has been made in the backend rather than the frontend/UI.
