JAL A350-1000 seats revealed

Have booked a QFF award SIN-HND-JFK for next December which includes F on JL6. Currently showing as a 777 but hoping/expecting this to be updated to the A350 at some point after they take delivery of enough units to go daily. Also booked awards for the other two NoNames in J but just as a placeholder at this stage. Likely to cancel and have them on SQ.

I came across an article/video that said the JAL a350-1000 are the first a350 to be fitted with both dimmable windows (premium section) and window shade (economy side).Interesting choice.

Also inaugural flight today so looking forward to seeing the videos pop up on my feed.

From what I can tell from few Japanese flight reviews that have trickled out on the inaugural, it looks like people are generally pretty happy with the in-headrest speaker system.

Looks like everyone on the inaugural was a paid customer, no media (except vloggers etc. who chose to buy their own tickets).

JL is having a lot of issues with the quality of the Safran seats, and it looks like Qantas is going Safran too on the A35K. Hopefully the quality issues are ironed out by then.
