Hi, I'm a frequent observer of this site but first time posting. I'm trying to book a OW award in J for my partner and I via the Qantas website, but don't seem to get any availability on JAL flights. I know from other threads that CX availability doesn't show up with online bookings - does anyone know if it is the same with JAL? I'm trying to find a way from Perth to New York in December, so I reckon I need all the options I can get (and I still won't hold my breath...).

Cheers,
Michael.

Basically you have to ring.Iam booking a J award from BNE-JFK for my wife at the moment and tried to book on line with QFF.From BNE at least it does give you the QF codeshare on JAL availability.Problem is from NRT-JFK it uses the AA flights and although it comes up with a couple of days with J availability when you go to book the flights it tells you AA only has economy and first-so it does domestically but not on international services.I wanted to use up my QFF points in view of coming enhancements but will probably end up using AA whose website shows milesaver J awards every day for a month NRT-JFK and back.
