Hey guys,

Just looking at options from asia to europe as it is impossible to find australia to europe at this stage except for EK with such high taxes..

anyone flown first class (looking at JL45) from Tokyo to Europe? How does that compare to a QF from Australia to Europe in your opinion?

I have not dived into much rewards seats yet and trying to plan best way to maybe try go for a business/first round the world end of 2025 or sometime in 2026

Ideally you want the a350 HND- LHR as that's their new product.

But those awards go almost immediately after they are released.

Not flying to Europe but am in JL F SIN-HND-JFK in just over 3 weeks. Will give a quick summary after that if you like? Am on the 777 to HND then A350-1000 to JFK.

Ok have just taken off from HND on JL6 after flying overnight from SIN on JL36.

Wasn’t feeling the best last night so possible that my opinion is swayed a little but I thought the 777 F cabin was showing its age. Comfortable enough and no major issues but I don’t think it’s anything special. Due to timing I didn’t take advantage of the full offering but a longer flight will give you that experience seen in @CaptJCool post above.

The A350-1000 has been well and truly reviewed by the bloggers at this point but I’ll give my thoughts anyway. Cabin is spectacular. Very big suite, I feel the full size isn’t really shown in the photos but once you get in then it feels huge. TV screen is massive. Very comfortable.

I’ll give my thoughts on the service a little later but suspect it is going to be amazing too since I’m the only PAX in F today. :D
