JAL Premium Economy from Melbourne

There seems to be no direct flight from Melbourne to Narita on Premium Economy.
Departing in Aug, Sept and Oct.
However, there are economy and business flying directly.

JAL 787-8s do not have premium economy. From Melbourne they're likely flying the E12 configuration which is Apex Suites (Business) + Economy only.

JAL haven’t flown PE for over 4 years out of MEL. But the economy on their 787 is actually more comfortable IME.

If you do want PE, you can hop over to Sydney. I believe the 787s they fly there does have PE.

No PE on those, business isn't too bad though. Economy also manageable for sure.
