Just saw JAL now decreasing flights from Mel to Tokyo. Looking at booking Jan 2026 trip.

Should I book JAL even though less frequency? What happens if issues with flight delays cancellations considering they fly 3x weekly.

Or should I book Qantas?

Also as Jan is peak period. Book now or try hold/wait for sales?

QFs A330s have poor reliability these days, but may depend on where you’re staying if NRT vs HND is easier.
