That is a great deal. When did you book that?

1 May - so around 3 months in advance. I thought that they'd go quickly with the double SC offer
Thankfully the double SC covers August international flights - and my review date is end of August so good timing all round

Yes - you are correct - I edited it to fix it to August at the same time you were posting

I've never been able to find it any cheaper than 120,000 points for the return (even via Adealide)

You can route SIN-xSYD-ADL for 50k then tag a ADL-xMEL-SYD ... earning 260sc all up.

Do you guys aim for WP mainly due to the Oneworld F lounge benefit including the SYD QF F and MEL QF F lounge? Or is it for something else?

For the double points earn, for the irrops assistance, for the WP phone line, for the better seating, for the better treatment on OW partners (especially AA and CX), for trumping others in the upgrade queue, and the lounges help too.

Anyone can advise how to get the double SC?
I got an offer that per return trip between SYD/MEL/BNE to PER can earn additional 80, 40, 20 SC on J, Y and discounted Y respectively.

As such, I locked in JASA for SYD-xMEL-PER-xMEL-SYD in JASA (~100k points) for 240 SC + 80 Bonus...... would be great if I can get Double SC and earn 480 SC instead.

There is no known way to instigate a double SC bonus. FFs arerqndomly picked by QFF for these offers; some members have received a number of offers, some members no offers.
