JASA on JQ 787 MEL-OOL?

Hi Guys,

From the little information I have been able to find, it looks like after November JQ will be using their new 787's for domestic MEL/SYD-OOL flights... What I was hoping someone in here knew is if JQ offer JASA's or J classic awards on flights where they have J class? I have points i'm looking to burn before they expire, and really want to fly on the 787. Alternatively, does anyone know if you can buy an upgrade award on JQ flights that have J class?

From what I saw its MEL/SYD/CNS for 1st 2 months, then to either Mel/Syd to Tokyo/Osaka or HNL in Jan/Feb

You should be able to get a J classic award. I won't bother with a Jasa as it won't earn.

MEL/SYD/CNS to OOL or just between MEL/SYD/CNS?
I assume there will be a mass of media and advertising once the plains are in service, but if its not OOL ill prob miss out as I only have one flight left to book this year and its MEL-OOL one way for xmas.
