JB747 - I've missed a lot of posts on here through time constraints but I've really enjoyed the posts of yours that I have read - they give a great insight into the decision making for a lot of situations etc and help us understand why things happen. How long is it until your final working flight?

And may I add to that question - is your last working flight likely to be to AU or from? I.e. would your return to AU be as PF or pax?

I should find out the details of that last flight in the next few days. I've asked for a London trip, so the very last sector will most likely be Singapore to Melbourne.
Finding out is one thing. The real question is whether you’ll tell us.

Ha. The bigger question is whether scheduling will manage to muck it up....

Mr jb747, Your last flight and employments terminates in London..........Ah no, you no longer work for QF, you will need to find your own way home. Thanks for your service:p:eek:

Hmmm, fare buckets are interesting for QF36; no deep discount available:

Probably because it's end of school holidays and a long weekend.

:( I've always missed you. Closest has been you operating the same flight +/- 1 day or passing each other in the air (eg I'm on 93 and you're flying 94).

Can't do that 36 a month later? :P

Doh! Missed you by one day. :(

I’m on the 36 on 26 Jan.

Who do I call to get this outrageous error corrected?;)

Edit: I’ve just remembered I was previously on EK and an EK schedule change didn’t work for so I switched to the 36.

I wonder if they’ll let me re-think the involuntary reroute two months later? ;)

I thought I read somewhere that you didn't want a big fuss made on your last flight. Then you invite AFF riff raf, brave man!!. Good luck JB
