Jetstar 9 hour difference with no alternative, and no compensation? Why no change to Qantas??

I would look at the cost of purchasing OOL-ADL then

- if more expensive, ask for a move to OOL-ADL (negating your transport issues albeit it Is still hours earlier than you wanted - which would be an argument with Jetstar as to why you didnt book that in the first place but want it now)
- if cheaper, book OOL-ADL and take full refund on BNE-ADL
- if they refuse, consider transport cost to OOL vs transport cost to BNE and decide if the incremental cost (or marginal difference) is worthwhile given the time savings Not to have to get to BNE.

Good luck and welcome to AFF.

Edit: I see you ended up with the rebook - well worth the incremental taxi cost (maybe cheaper) given the time saving.
