Jetstar booking change - experience and thoughts

The likelihood of JQ cancelling flights or changing schedules after booking is the main reason why I won't go near them willingly. Closely followed by the second reason of the absolutely carp service they dole out after they have stuffed you up with their cancellation / change.

This has been my position and to date i haven't had to fly JQ.

I'd sum it up as:

If all goes well, they're fine.

If it goes even slightly wrong, they're terrible.


There is no in between.

I also saw that QF are opening a B738 pilot base in Adelaide which will mean additional aircraft overnighting in ADL so I expect the QF timetables into and out of ADL may change a bit which may help you out.

15 business days! I think it's been about 4 so far. CSM on Friday told me about the Adelaide pilot base.
