Jetstar Business sale to HNL?

Do Jetstar ever have business seat sales to Honolulu? They used to occasionally pre Covid but I cannot remember seeing a sale lately.

Good question! I haven't seen any advertised recently, nor have I noticed any particularly cheap business class fares on this route. Then again, Jetstar makes it quite difficult to actually find & compare business class pricing on different dates, so there could have been a sale that most people didn't notice!

I too have noticed on the Jetstar website, the business class fares are not as transparent as the Economy fares.

The "Flights" page will show the lowest fares +/- 3 days of your original search, but this is not the same when you have selected Business class. Instead, you need to click into each day to see if flights on that day have business class cabin and get the price.

There was an JQ “Hawaii & Fiji” Flash Sale at the start of April. I can’t tell if it included “Business”.

NAN J was in it, but not HNL - that maxed out at Y+ on QF

The email I have was a “JQ” Flash Sale but no details. Just a link to a now dead page.
Ohhhh... I was probably thinking of the QF one that ran at about the same time

The cabin often goes out full and is sold out in advance. Having a look is numerous dates over the coming months that are already full.

Hopefully the new reconfiguration with more seats up front will offer up some sharper pricing and sales.

I really wish HA would kickstart a MEL-HNL route. Demand for anything Victoria to Sun during winter is very strong, would happily jump on HA in Melbourne.

It looks like they might be suspending this route next year while the fleet starts D checks, bookings are not available after Easter. I note SYD-HNL is being pulled back also in frequency. Expect schedule reductions for a few years as they get through the whole fleet.

Which route is that?

SYD-HNL is bookable still thru to end of June but does look less frequent.

Handy if they come back white and red tail with proper J cabin! 😁
