I flagged the first one up on Jetstar's FB page, and will do the same with this one. It'd be for the kids, so I won't be suffering :)

I haven't had the need to use - so YMMV

For the past few weeks I've regularly had ads appearing in my browser from Jetstar for Syd Hnl flights for $169. I've searched every date through to June 30 and the cheapest is $339.

$169 sounds like it could almost be the USD tax exclusive fare ..... something funny going on with cookies?

Explicit SYD-HNL and also OOL-NRT, so doubt it'd be a USD fare. And if it was it'd still be great value; I couldn't find anything close to that when I checked every date to the end of June.

I think something is wrong in their database. I just had a BNE-CNS for $479 offer from Jetstar! Bargain - not!

I quite like the ads - they give me some idea just how well google is tracking me :)

Yep and don't forget to block javascript for those pesky websites that have an anti-adblocker ;)

OT: The problem with blocking JS is that you often break other parts of the web site. An anti-adblocker script for Greasemonkey or UBlock is more effective and doesn't disable other functionality.

Another helpful place to complain might be the Asutralian Consumers' Association - their 'Choice' Magazine loves to chase up stuff like this - and as they also know consumer law backwards are in a good position to advise you

I complained about this and they have not handled my complaint very well. But they have given me $600 in vouchers so far but they won't make available the $69 OOL to NRT fare that was advertised to me. My complaint is ongoing.
