A question so rarely seen online but, is there a way to pass a compliment re Jetstar crew
A cursory search of their website threw up a web chat which seemed to be more focussed on complaints, and may or may not be AI based
Ordinarily I’d email QFF but uncertain if it would be passed on

(JQ677 DRW-MEL 19/4 1L cabin crew that wasn’t the cabin manager, on the off chance they monitor this forum)

Had this same issue!! Wanted to put in a compliment but only found the complaints form which all got too hard and some of the options didn’t make sense for a compliment

So I just put it in the too hard basket and gave up

Is this a joke thread??????
I flew up to Townsville with Jetstar on Friday night. Not only could I not fault it but also the flight was more enjoyable than the Qantas flight I had back and better still it was half the cost (even after factoring in the add ons/purchases).

I paid the extra $16 for the exit row which provided excellent leg room (Qantas charge $35 on the same route for an exit row and as a lowly Platinum now have to pay within T-80 for Row 4 if even available). Boarding was on time and very quick and orderly, crew were very polite during boarding and the whole thing occurred very quickly.

After take off they kept the lights dimmed which was nice for a night flight and then commenced the buy onboard service which the excellent English accented manager did by hand (no trolley - better than QF Dom J) and because the Jetstar sales are now linked to seat number also knew peoples names. I purchased a Gin and Tonic which at $12.50 is not terrible value but also good considering it came with a cup of ice, a can of tonic and a small 50ml bottle of 23rd Street signature gin (1.6 standards). If it was Gordons or Beefeaters I'd be a little more annoyed about value but it's a good craft gin so I think the $12.50 acceptable (VA charge $18 for an Archie Rose G&T which is a bit steep). We landed on time and couldn't fault the flight or service. The cherry on top was as a QF Plat I could use the Brisbane J Lounge which was good as normal.

I got a JQ survey the day after the flight and responded similar comments to the above.

How were the meal options?

How were the meal options?
I didn't have a anything to eat (ate in the lounge - the QF J lounge had shepherd's pie from the oven) that being said they had the normal menu onboard (toasties, chicken wraps, sandwiches, pies, noodles + sweet/savoury snack options). Meanwhile the QF flight had tomato salsa with about 5 corn chips as the only snack in Y (no hot option).

I find that row 1 on the 320/321 is better than any on the QF 737 (apart from maybe row 4). Also much cheaper and a reasonable possibility of having an empty seat next to you.

I'm flying JQ AKL-SYD shortly, having paid $16 extra for seat 1F and am quite looking forward to it.

We flew JQ J Syd-Sgn in Jan....the crew could not be faulted!

Those fares look like a bargain, some are (well) under $250 each way in Y?
Not when you consider adding $200 for an "upgrade" to TK. Still not what I was expecting for a 5 star airline (seats a little bland and tv selection quite boring however it is a safe and reputable and new aircraft and has a big tv plus if you have *A then can use the SQL. Feels stale in comparison to SQ and other asian carriers, i guess just a little bit better than qantas the service in Y).
