I find that row 1 on the 320/321 is better than any on the QF 737 (apart from maybe row 4). Also much cheaper and a reasonable possibility of having an empty seat next to you.

I'm flying JQ AKL-SYD shortly, having paid $16 extra for seat 1F and am quite looking forward to it.

Agree with this, the extra seat width on an A320/21 is also appreciated compared to a 737

How they can be boarding a plane at 06:30 with stragglers causing delays and be smiling and bubbly for the whole 2.5hr flight amazes me.
