Jetstar-esque carry-on experience with Qantas

Every time I get a notification on this thread, I keep thinking the same thing: "If only airports could page not just passengers over the PA system, but self-awareness too."

The OP's behaviour in the situation was weird enough, but it's the decision to then post about it publicly that really cinches it. Far out.

post about it publicly
I dont think an AFF post is posting it publicly despite the following that AFF gets. We all have anonymous usernames.

I learnt its 2 x upto 14kgs with one no more than 10... when I had thought it was 7

4 IS TWO TOO MANY
Ive seen people carry 3. 4 if you include all the extra clothes they have on.....

Ive carried more than that but have always limited carryon to 2 pieces. But its not possible to post on AFF, check emails, send messages, search flight alternatives in case of IIROPS, check flightaware24, check seat /upgrade availability, while eating salt and pepper squid + drinking a bev, while trying to mind 4 carryons.

Fair enough, I can clarify my point: to me, posting about it at all and expecting anything other than an ego check says a lot about the OP. Again, perhaps that's just me. Judging by the reaction, perhaps not.

Or it's just a troll post.....

I've just read this thread. Presumably the OP was not expecting these responses given he hasn't bothered replying. Thinking 4 carry on items is acceptable is ridiculous .
