Strange. I finally had an online chat with a Qantas person and they said I could use the Wellington International Business lounge. The Qantas website seems to say the same thing if you know where to look. I am on a JQ flight number so should be fine.

This from the Wellington lounge

^ Lounge access eligibility is based on the class of travel, Qantas club membership or the Frequent Flyer Membership tier for your next onward flight.
+ Jetstar refers to Jetstar Airlines (JQ), Jetstar Asia (3K), Jetstar Japan (GK) and Jetstar Pacific (BL).
# A oneworld marketed flight refers to a flight with a oneworld flight number, eg QF1 or AA222. A oneworld operated flight refers to the actual aircraft or 'metal' on which you fly, eg Finnair aircraft.
** Valid in Qantas operated lounges branded as the Qantas Club or Qantas Lounge. It is not accepted in associated and partner lounges and the lounges in Los Angeles.

That is the bit that worries me. Im unfamiliar with the airport but the map seems to show the domestic and international gates in the same wing. Does anyone know if they are physically separated?

Actually, the entry for Christchurch specifically states the Jetstar flight must be international only (see below) whereas the entry for Wellington does not mention this. Christchurch is a affiliated lounge though.
