Jetstar ODU with new fare types

I realise this thread is a little old, but after trawling through page after page looking for more recent information on
the JQ ODU's I came up blank.

Has anyone got any updated prices, or whether or not this is still an option.

Not overly fussed on the FF points or SC's

I got an email earlier this year about a week in advance offering $250 to upgrade to business MEL-xSIN-PEK, or $350 business max.

Got an email 2 days ago for a MEL-DPS flight in about a weeks time up to business for $199 up to business max for $299 also available for the return flight. There are also 4 others on this trip on a different PNR which haven't got the offer. As travelling with others I haven't taken it otherwise I would be tempted.

$700 for 400 SC seems reasonable!

Mmm it was 120 SC MEL-SIN, then 100 SC SIN-PEK. If I hadn't missed my connecting flight (see TR for details!), would have only been 140 MEL-PEK.

Twas only one way too sadly (well, not sadly ... had a lot of the world to cover to get back home!).

Has anyone had recent experience with this on JQ3/4? I got a call today offering me an upgrade for $329 SYD-HNL and I'm wondering if it might be cheaper to do at check in (assuming seats are still available).

I would not wait, if they rung you they are ringing others and on that sort of flight I am betting its popular.

many years ago (5 or 6 years maybe??) the upgrade price was $250 at the airport... $329 now seems pretty ok. maybe the extra $$ is worth it to secure the upgrade now rather than the lottery at the airport?
