Heads up - your return from Brisbane to Perth might be a problem if you are flying Jetstar to Perth. We did the HNL- BNE- NCL run in January, booked as a single journey. We arrived in back in Brisbane cleared customs and tried to check our bags before the long wait till our NCL flight . We were informed by Jetstar that we could not check in till 2 hours before the flight. There was no baggage storage. One of our group sat with the cases out the front so the rest of us could go through to Qantas club. After a 9 hour international flight one would think they could collect the bags.

JQ clearly state on their website they will not transfer luggage, so I don't see how the length of the flight here is relevant.

I was not expecting transfers - just the ability to re check our bags for the second leg. I have never traveled on an international/domestic combo where we could not recheck and go through security right away.
