Hi All,

Just after some reviews on Jetta, Any one used them as a freight forwarder? I've used World Baggage in the past (with no complaints) but am thinking of Jetta this time round as they are cheaper.

Yeah, Anyway I've contacted Jetta & thus far my experience with them has been:
Fill out "Quick Quote" form online - get no response
Call for quote - Quote given, No complaints here!
Call to book pick up - Get call on day of pick up to advise courier can't make it.

In addition to that I've had to make follow up phone calls in relation to paper work that was supposed to be emailed to me as it never hit my inbox.

Obviously I'm not too impressed so far but for the price I was quoted Im not expecting 5 star service & dont care how backwards their customer service dept is, All I'm really concerned about is getting my stuff from Point A to B safely with no damage or unnecessary delays.

So has anyone used them before & would you recommend them? As at the moment Im considering going with world baggage & paying the extra $$$ just for the peace of mind.

sorry for the ranting 1st post,
I've been trying to find reviews on Jetta & being unable to do so I figure this forum seems like the best place to ask the Q's !

Cheers & TIA

Hi, and welcome to AFF.

I have used Jetta twice, from Brisbane to Kiribati in the Central Pacific. Apart from them having never heard of Kiribati, I found them great to deal with. On both occasions they showed up when they said they would, and the bags and boxes arrived within the estimated timeframe. No complaints.

I have used them several times and have had no problems with the, Admittedly I have done my dealings with them in person at either their Sydney or Melbourne office so never had to worry about emails et al

I would have no hesitation in recommending them to people

Dave

Thanks for the replies, I ended up paying the extra & going with World Baggage. Meanwhile that was a week ago & I'm still waiting for the pre alert flight details, I think all these freight forwarders are as bad as each other :-|

Hi - only just saw this thread and thought I'd record my strong advice not to use Jetta.
I used them to transport a suitcase from Melbourne to Beijing, and was assured I could pick it up from the airport when I arrived. Long story short, it took me three days of taxis to distant cargo hangars to find my bag once I got to Beijing.
A series of phone calls were left unanswered, despite being promised someone would call me back, and 3 letters were ignored. I ended up suing them in the VCAT and only then - on the day before the hearing - I was sent cheque for the amount I was claiming - no note, no explanation, no apology.

Not recommended. :(
