I want to lodge a protest:!:...by the time oz_mark lodged his guess, eveyone bar ngariman had been eliminated

I guess that is what happens when you fire prematurely and not take into consideration factors, like 2 weeks holiday, that may affect posting rate.

I demand that JohnK's post be reset to zero, and we will have to make new guesses as to when he will reach his 3000th post..

It will take another 17 months to get back to 3,000 posts. :shock:

Fortunately I wasn't. :-|

It happened that the cloth pad holding the cleaning bristles together began to unravel. This had the effect of dropping clumps of said bristles onto the fabric.
